The Turlock Running Club was formed in 1998 as a non-profit organization that contributes to the community while promoting the sport of running in Turlock. In its first few years the club has grown into a social, supportive group with weekly group runs, after- run breakfasts, organized trips, carpooling to races and seasonal celebrations. Although the ability of members varies from the new runner taking their first steps to the seasoned veteran training for their next marathon, we all share in the joy of running and the camaraderie that comes with running as part of a club.
Weekly club runs meet every Saturday at 8:00 am in the front parking lot at Emanuel Medical Center 825 Delbon Avenue. We currently offer 3 and 6 mile routes. Board meetings are held monthly and are open to all club members. The Turlock Running Club is a member of the Road Runners Club of America.
